Client must understand that by just handing over the site to an Interior Designer or to the contractor wont server the purpose. As an owner of the house its your equal responsibility to visit the ongoing site regularly.
How Will your Visits help Us?
- We like regular discussions at site with clients for clarification as it helps us making decisions for project execution.
- At times we need our clients help to coordinate with the Builder/Society for any unknown requirements which may show up during execution.
- We can communicate our concerns to you if at all we have any.
How can you help yourself by visiting the site regularly?
- You can supervise the work to some extent by your self.
- You can make sure all the designs are being executed as agreed.
- You can make changes if you are not happy with the executed work or not happy with how the design agreed by you has come up.
- You can revise your agreed design, before its too late, if at all you change your mind.
- You can check for the pace of work and can push harder if you feel the work is getting delayed.
- You can come up with additional requirements and can convey the same so that execution of increased scope of work can be planned accordingly without actually hampering the given timelines.
How often should you visit the site?
Twice or thrice in a week.
Why not everyday?
You can visit the site everyday if time permits. But you may not see much progress in the work even if its being carried out a faster pace. Because it takes at least two days for any structure to get built. Still if you want you can visit the site everyday.
