When ever the quote comes up for an interior work it mainly composes of business model and two different parameters mentioned below.
- Material Cost
- Carpenter/Labor Cost
“In House” Model and not on “Outsourcing” model:
We work on “In House” Model and not on “Outsourcing” model. By now you must be aware that we work with Rajasthani Carpenters and Rajasthani Vendors. If you know, in this community not just one member of the family does the business but his entire family works for the business. When we say “Woody Uncle Sam”! its actually my family business being run with the help of Rajasthani Carpenters, Rajasthani Vendors and Rajasthani suppliers together. Hence we save a lot on Material and Labor cost. To know more about it please read below:
How we save on Material Cost:
When we say interior work, plywood(of any grade) and internal laminates are the basic material that gets used. As this constitutes more that 50% of the interior work, we stock it. Yes, we stock the plywood(of any grade) and internal laminates and we own the inventory. If you know us well you must be knowing that we don’t take advance payment to start the interior work and this is the reason for it. For rest of the materials, We have tie ups with vendors and our relations are so good with them that we, as good as, own the(their) shop. Having good relations with vendors help us get credit of up-to two days. Since the vendors get lots of business from us we get the material at discounted rates.
How we save on Labor cost:
As i mentioned earlier, we work on “In House” Model and not on “Outsourcing” model. Carpenters and labors we work with are our very own and live with us. They don’t work with us on contract basis. They all belong from a village in Rajasthan and their entire families help us drive our business. Hence we never fall short of carpenters. Because of the numbers of carpenters we have on-boarded, it’s very easy for us to carry out multiple sites at a time.
