For Kitchen and washrooms furniture where the furniture is in direct/indirect contact with water use Boiling water proof/resistant(BWP/BWR grade) plywood. As the name suggests it is water proof and is good enough to make all kind of kitchen and washroom cabinets . This plywood is expensive as compared to MR grade.

Things to Check while buying a plywood:
- Check for the ISI mark.
- Check for ISI code – IS code:303
- Check for CM/L no printed below ISI mark.
- Check for the grade type(MR/BWP/BWR) mentioned on the plywood
- If the CM\L no is not printed then the ISI mark MAY BE be fake
