Easy Ideas to decorate your home all by yourself.
Every body has his own budget and has his own perspective towards decorating his/her home. I will tell you the areas which when worked upon increases the aesthetics value of the room.
So, lets go right into your apartment.
Lets Start with the entrance door of your Apartment:
- Lets Go for the wooden paneling of the main door and the wall around it.
- Lets keep a Small space above the door for god’s Idol. Lets illuminate the idol with a small LED light.
- If you are NOT on budget then lets go for Stone cladding on the walls around the main door.
Its not just the Foyer Area!
Gone are the days when shoe racks used to be just a vertical cabinet.
- Lets make the shoe rack stair case shaped.
- Lets cover up the lowest stair with a cushion where you can sit and put on your footwear .
- Lets put a Raptor along with LED lights at a certain height above the shoe rack.
- Lets put a wallpaper or stone clading on the wall between shoe rack and the raptor.
- Lets hang a painting/artifact on that wall and get it illuminated by a highlighter(light).
You see the wall behind your couch?
- Perfect place to put a wallpapers or texture paint. Lets do it.
- Lets get a raptor running above the couch along with LED lights.
- Lets hang a painting/artifact on that wall and get it illuminated by highlighters(light).
- Lets place the lamp beside couch. Either both side or just one side – Either small or big – Your choice!
- Lets place a fantastic rug under the tea table.
Yea the TV cabinet!
- It has to be beautiful as it’s gonna be the focal point of living room.
- Lets go for semi or full wall paneling. Wall behind and around the TV can be decorated with wallpapers or texture paint.
How about the wall in your dining area?
- Another place where wallpapers love to get pasted and paints love to get textured. Lets get it done then.
- Lets hang a wonderful artifact or a painting and and get it illuminated by a highlighter(light).
- If you are doing a False Ceiling then lets get a False Ceiling hanging above your dining area with some decorative lightnings right above the dining table.
Wow the bedrooms – Everyone’s favorite place!
- Lets get wonderful cushions on bed’s headboard.
- Lets stretch the back panel of the headboard till the end of the wall.
- Again, the wall papers or texture paint, goes right on the wall behind bed’s headboard. Lets get it done then.
- Lets hang a wonderful artifact or a painting on the same wall and get it illuminated by a highlighter(light).
- Lets illuminate the laminates on the wardrobes by having spot lights in the lofts.
- Lets put beautiful table lamps on both the side tables.
Now the False ceiling which is the most important element to bring aesthetic value to your place:-
- Let’s keep it simple.
- Only on the edges with raptors. Fitted with LED robe lights fitted between the gypsum boards and the ceiling and runs along the wall which acts as indirect source of light. You can apply this for all your rooms.
Lighting is the key!
Lights play an important role in bringing aesthetic value to your place. Following are the places where you can use designer lights
- Right in the center of ceiling of living room goes the Chandelier! Lets hang it in there then.
- Designer lights/Hanging lights can be used at the corner of the ceiling where couch is placed.
- Lets put table lamps on the table beside the couch OR use the tall lamp beside the couch.
- If you have placed a partition then use spotlight illuminating the partition and the artifacts placed in it.
- Use the highlighters on the wall dining area if you have put an artifact or a painting on it. If no artifact is used then use a designer light.
- Designer Lights/Hanging lights can be used at the corner of the ceiling where bed is placed. It looks good. Lets get it done.
- Lets put table lamps on the side tables in the bedroom.
Yay! Your home interiors are done and that too within your budget. 🙂
