What is Commercial plywood?
Commercial plywood is a very common and a standard plywood used in making furniture. This plywood is Moisture resistant and has capacity to withstand moisture and humidity. Hence its termed as Moisture Resistant(MR) grade plywood.
Alternate commercial plywoods:
Alternate commercial plywood is made using veeners of two different types woods and are glued alternatively. Urea melamine formaldehyde resin is usually used for gluing the individual plies together. Most popular Alternate plywood is made up of EUCALYPTUS wood and POPLAR wood. This is the most economical alternate plywood. There is another type called as Alternate Gurjan. Which is made up of Gurjan wood and is a bit expensive.
Used in:
Alternate plywood is Most widely used for making furniture for homes and offices. Drawing room furniture and paneling work, as well as bedroom furniture is almost always made using Commercial ply. Its used in every furniture which is not in direct contact with water.
